Kristi Fury, CFNP
Kristi Fury is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the visionary founder of Beyond Health, established in 2014. With over 20 years of diverse clinical experience, Kristi brings a deep commitment to whole-person care, blending the best of conventional medicine with advanced functional and regenerative therapies.
Kristi began her nursing career in fast-paced, high-acuity settings—serving as an ER Nurse Practitioner and hospitalist—before transitioning to Family Medicine. It was in Family Medicine that she found her passion: building long-term, trusting relationships with patients and designing personalized care plans that address the root causes of illness.
Today, at Beyond Health, Kristi specializes in:

Barry Stanford, CFNP
Barry Stanford is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting health by identifying and addressing the root causes of illness. She combines evidence-based conventional medicine with advanced functional, regenerative, and longevity therapies to create personalized treatment plans that optimize health, restore vitality, and improve quality of life.
With a diverse clinical background spanning critical care, primary care, and correctional medicine, Barry has cared for patients across all stages of life. These experiences reinforced her belief that healthcare should go beyond symptom management to focus on prevention, restoration, and helping patients achieve their highest level of wellness.

Specializing in Hormone Therapy
Kristi became a hormone specialist after experiencing pellet therapy firsthand. She quickly recognized the benefits of hormone optimization and saw how it improved her life.
“Within six weeks of my first hormone pellet insertion, I slept better, had more energy and mental clarity, and had an overall renewed sense of well being,” Kristi says.
Since becoming a hormone specialist, she has shared her experience with pellet therapy with others and has administered it to both close friends and patients who have benefited from hormone replacement.
Kristi believes that the majority of medications treat symptoms, instead of the cause of the patient’s health challenge.
Philanthropy and Outreach
Just as we care about helping improve the lives of her patients, BEYOND HEALTH is passionate about giving back. The organizations we support are:
LifeQuest is a non-profit serving youth throughout New Mexico. The program seeks to offer all youth in the state of New Mexico a pathway to a brighter future and hope for life fulfilled. LifeQuest offers many programs both within juvenile facilities and the community. Establishing a one-on-one mentoring relationship with each youth is the goal of LifeQuest.
Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico – The Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico exists to help New Mexico’s children with cancer and their families cope with the day-to-day educational, emotional and financial needs of living with and fighting cancer. The CCFNM provides services to over 300 children and their families each year and operates on a budget of nearly $800,000.
The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network is a New Mexico-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Since its founding in 2009 by a group of passionate parents, RGDSN has worked to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and empower individuals with Down syndrome to lead independent, fulfilling lives. Through advocacy, education, and community programs, RGDSN continues to make a meaningful impact across the state.
