Individuals come to Beyond Health for many different reasons.
The most common is that they are struggling with making life changes. During times of transition obstacles
may arise in many forms. Obstacles and barriers to change
may include career, school, family, relationships, health
issues, habits, pain, stress, fear, anxiety, depression and
more. By illuminating complex problems we become empowered
to face challenges that were once overwhelming and difficult
to move beyond.
What’s
right for me?
Beyond
Health helps individuals faced with everyday issues and challenges
make the right choices to serve their physical and emotional
well-being. Since no two people are alike, finding the right
answers is a personal discovery process that requires us
to focus inward and ask difficult questions.
Put
simply, Beyond Health helps individuals discover who they are and
what they need to be healthy, balanced, and strong. Every
person has within them vast resources that can be summoned
to overcome even the greatest of life’s challenges. Beyond
Health helps to uncover these strengths and identify weaknesses so we understand what is causing our fears
or frustrations that inhibit positive change. This understanding
helps us feel empowered to take healthy actions and move
forward.
What
do I do now?
Beyond
Health helps individuals learn to make sensible, healthy choices
to get better results.
Depending
on the situation, making healthy choices may mean:
- Balancing
needs with responsibility and obligations to others.
-
Developing
a healthy way of dealing with stress.
-
Taking
time to heal, exercise or maintain wellness.
-
Connecting
with others who are experiencing similar challenges.
Whatever
a person needs, it all starts with choices....
Our
Team
Background
Suzanne and Allison met several years ago and began talking
about their desire to create a more supportive approach
to understanding well-being. They regularly saw within
their own private practices how easily one can become stuck
at the prospect of change and how fear can immobilize and leave one feeling isolated and lonely. Allison and
Suzanne also routinely worked with clients that were only
addressing one part of their problem- either the emotional
or the physical. It didn’t take long to realize that combining
their disciplines was the best way to help individuals overcome
obstacles and create true change.
